I'm a sucker for the pinup what can I say. I can't wait to see the Notorious Bettie Page that just came out on DVD. I had a roommate who spent some time fishing in the Charlottes a few years ago. She had come across an old fisherman's cabin and inside were these old posters of pinup girls. She managed to salvage a few and framed them. Those were my favourite decorative items in our whole house.

I was just about to come and leave a comment saying "okay we have waited long enough, where's the name?" but you beat me to it. Hello little Betty! ARe you going to call her Betty or Betty Grable all the time? Kylie
probably just betty most of the time, but Betty Grable for more formal occassion such as when she's meeting new people. Or maybe also when she's in trouble, I'll use her first and last name. Like Mom used to do!
Cute name Katherine, I like it. With a name like that she's clearly out of Niles' league!
That's so old fashioned... it's new! How has she accepted the new monicker?
Hey Fraser I think you're right. I think the hip kids call that 'retro'.
I think the cat likes her new name, though half the time I call her kitten so maybe she doesn't really know that Betty is her name anyways.
I love your kitty. Very cute and snuggable. With our puppy, we call her so many different things I wonder how she finally picked up on her name. And I do the full name thing when she's in trouble. It works too! Hopefully you won't have to use it too often.

Grace that's good to know that the full name thing works. I know it did when I was a kid. I'm not sure if cats care when they're in trouble though. They don't seem to have the same awareness that dogs do about that kind of thing. We'll do our best to train her with the spray bottle!
orange peels, they're supposed to work too. place them in areas or on top of things that you don't want her to be getting into and the smell is supposed to deter them.
