So I went to check my blog this morning to see if anyone commented (such a guilty habit) and I saw that there were new ones. I opened up one and it was Kryptonite telling me how sorry they were that my bike was stolen with a link to their page. Then I open up the other one and it was a Peugeot forum, another link to how great their products are. I was listening to the cbc to a new program called the age of persuasion. It was talking about how an advertiser's best friend is "buzz" or word of mouth advertising. It was also talking about how companies are using the world of the internet to accomplish this: especially through blogs and chat rooms. I thought to myself as I was listening that my blog has never been a victim. Well I guess I should've knocked on wood because it happened twice now! Unbelievable.
Perhaps from now on I will avoid the use of brand names on my blog. Unless of course if Kona wants to replace my bike, then that would be okay.

Awesome, you guys look very settled and cozy...or well your place does. Sorry to hear about your bike, but you seem in good spirits. Especially now that you have a replacement.

KAtherine, you have been the source of much inspiration for us today. (see my new blog post) I should also tell you that we are going to see Little Miss Sunshine tonight because it was one of your faves. (We also loved Spellbound and a Mighty Wind.) Thirdly, my mother was just telling me today how your advice on our blog about breaking your day into half an hour increments has revolutionized her life. She started doing it and didn't worry if she finished a task or not she would just do it for half an hour and now she feel so organized and prepared. Wow Katherine, you should really celebrate yourself tonight, crack open some wine with Chris and toast yourself! :)

Wow Kylie! I had no idea I would revolutionize your mother's life. That's fantastic. I saw her comment that she would try it. I should take my own advice. Although today I spent two half hour increments applying for jobs. That makes me feel productive! I loved seeing the pictures of your place too. I love being able to see where people are living. It helps me picture their environment when they tell me stories.
Michelle, I can't even tell you how much I love the dishwasher. My fear is going back to not having a dishwasher when we move out of this place.
